Funding
We work with all major insurers to help you access private healthcare. In many cases, you do not need a GP referral to access an appointment with us, but please check with your insurance provider first.
If you are not using insurance, self-funding is also available as an option. If you are self-funding, you do not need a GP referral to access an appointment with us.
Health insurance
We are recognised by major insurance companies including: Aviva, AXA Health, Bupa, Cigna, Healix, Vitality, and WPA.
If you are insured with a different company, then please get in touch to discuss treatment pre-authorisation, or contact your insurance company directly. Some smaller providers are under-written by larger organisations and so it is quite possible that your cover may be accepted. Please do check as arrangements differ between providers and you will be liable for fees if they are not covered by your insurance company.
Self-funding
Some patients prefer to self-fund without the involvement of an insurance company. We welcome all patients and work collaboratively with facility providers to ensure your needs are met at all times.
Fees
As with all private healthcare providers, the fees charged by the Hampshire Breast Clinic are governed by the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN). The PHIN exists to ensure that fair fee structures exist and that clarity is provided for patients. For more details Visit PHIN.
Our fees will be detailed in your confirmation letter, together with our cancellation policy. Please be aware that in all cases, the patient is liable for ensuring all fees are paid, be this by self-funding, or by arrangement with an insurance provider.
