The Hampshire Breast Clinic operates with a team of specialists that have been handpicked for their knowledge, skills and experience in their respective areas of practice.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of dedicated professionals, with specialties including surgery, radiology, oncology and specialist clinical nursing, supported by a friendly and professional practice support team.
We pride ourselves on our collegiate approach and teamwork in order to deliver the best outcomes for the patients that have trusted us with their care.
Surgical Team
The Hampshire Breast Clinic is led by Miss Christina Summerhayes. With over 20 years’ surgical experience in her chosen speciality, she works alongside colleagues that are hand-picked for their knowledge, skills and experience and are able offer our patients the best care possible. Radiology & Imaging Team
The surgical and radiology teams work in close harmony to optimise imaging, inform diagnosis and subsequent management of treatment pathways if required. The team works exclusively across the Hampshire Breast Clinic and University Hospital Southampton, providing continuity of care across both facilities.
Specialist Nursing Team
We provide access to a small team of dedicated Breast Care Nurses. As trusted colleagues they provide an essential point of contact, ensuring patients are kept informed and supported by dealing with queries at all times whilst under our care.
Business Team
The Hampshire Breast Clinic medical teams and services are managed with highly experienced and enthusiastic business operations support led by Mrs Lyn Corlass. Lyn has extensive experience dealing with private medical providers, insurance companies and patients and ensures the smooth running of the secretarial and business operations functions.
