Dr Charis Brook
Consultant Radiologist
Dr Charis Brook underwent her Radiology training in Wessex, and has been a Consultant Radiologist at University Hospital Southampton since January 2019. Her subspecialty interest is breast radiology – covering all aspects of breast screening, breast imaging and breast biopsy. She is the Breast Imaging Lead for UHS and Deputy Screening Director for Southampton & Salisbury NHS Breast Screening Programme.
Dr Brook also covers all aspects of routine and emergency general radiology at UHS.

• Guy’s, Kings & St Thomas’ (clinical medicine), 2006
• Core surgical training, KSS, 2008-2009
• Radiology training, Wessex, 2010-2018
Other Responsibilities
Away from the Hampshire Breast Clinic, Dr Brook is the Breast Imaging Lead for University Hospital Southampton, where she also undertakes the responsibility of Deputy Screening Director.
